An Analysis of Liver Function Test

Abstract
|
|
|
The authors studied liver function test in 200 Yealthy persor, 158 cases of hepatobiliary disease, 152 cases of salmorellosis, 76 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis, 35 cases of diabetes mellitus, 49 cases of b.ypertersion, 47 cases of drug intoxication, 57 cases of cerebrovascular disease, and 29 cases of cardiac disease from March 1979 to February 1580 who were admitted and treated in tie Department of Interral Medicire, Jeonbug National University Hospital.
The results obtained are as follows ;
1. Total protein & albumin level were decreased irarkedly in hepatic disease and were somewhat decreased in salmonellosis, pulrror ary tuberculosis, diabetes mellitus & cardiac disease.
2. SCOT & SGFT level were ir. creased significantly in hepatobiliary disease, cardiac diaeaoe and salmonellosis.
3. Alkaline pYcspl:at2se level wss ircrcascd sigrificar.tly in hepatobiliary dieesse and sligi.tly ir.crea.sed in diabetes mellitus & cardiac disease.
4. Patients with lepat.ic ar.d cardiac eiseGse rcvcaLed corr.ewl-.at decrease, ar_d hyperter,.ior, cerebrovascular disease & ciabetes rellitus revea.lcd slight ir_crease in cholesterol level.
5. Patients with hepatobiliary disease, bilirubin level was increased significantly.
